Matching Gift Challenge
Here's a chance to turn one $ into three $$$ …
It's the Holmes-Progin Matching Challenge to Hancock County Residents
A 2-to-1 match!
Year-round Seal Harbor residents Judy Holmes and Jim Progin have generously pledged a challenge gift that will match $50,000 of community donations to the Campaign for Camp Beech Cliff. The challenge gift is a 2-to-1 match; for every dollar given to the CBC campaign from full-time Hancock County residents, Judy and Jim will match it with two!
By issuing a challenge to our greater-MDI community, Judy and Jim hope to raise awareness of Camp Beech Cliff and the level of local support needed to send greater-MDI area kids to camp each summer. Gifts to the Holmes-Progin challenge will also help build a new climbing wall and challenge (ropes) course at the new Camp Beech Cliff. With your help, we hope to meet the challenge and celebrate around a campfire before camp re opens in June 2012.
"If you care about kids, if you want them to learn skills they’ll use for a lifetime, if you want kids to discover a sense of adventure and be inspired to take care of our island as they grow up – please give to Camp Beech Cliff."
– Judy Holmes, Camp Beech Cliff Board Member & Challenge Gift Donor
The Community Share
Every year-round Hancock County resident’s gift to the Holmes-Progin Challenge will be counted as part of the campaign to raise the “community share” of rebuilding camp and its programs. Any gift at any level will help kids reach new heights!
