Traditional Camp Weekly Rates
The true cost of a typical week of camp is $650
Donations from our camp community allow us to discount this rate for everyone to $440
Additional designated donations allow us to reduce this rate for Hancock County residents to $260
Why are there different rates for camp?
Residency
Camp Beech Cliff has a 2-tiered fee schedule: Hancock County Maine residents and Non-Hancock County Maine Residents. Residency is determined by where the camper attends school or is entitled to attend school in the case of homeschooled campers. Camp Beech Cliff does not receive any tax-dollar funding and is not supported by the local towns, therefore property ownership does not determine residency.
Camperships
Camperships are based on financial and hardship needs. They are available to help offset the cost of camp for campers who are year-round residents of Hancock County. If you would like your child to be considered for a Campership, please complete both a Registration and Campership Application and submit them to CBC as soon as possible. Most camperships will be awarded by late April.
Camp Fee Payment Terms
CBC fees apply to week-long registrations. While families may elect to keep campers home during some part of the week, no discounts or rebates can be applied for only partial attendance of a registered week.
A non-refundable* $30 registration fee will be assessed for each camper application. This fee will apply to all campers but will only be applied once per season. Additional registrations made following an initial application will not be charged an additional fee.
*If a camper is placed on a waitlist and never receives a spot a camp, the registration fee will be refunded.A deposit of $50/registered weeks is due by May 1 ($25/week for approved campership applicants). All camp fees are due-in-full two weeks prior to the start of the registered camp week.
All deposits are non-refundable after May 1.
Weekly camp balances are refundable up until two weeks prior to the camp week beginning. Following this, all fees are non-refundable. For example, the fee for a camp week starting on June 17th is due June 3rd. As of the 4th, any cancellation of that camp week will result in forfeit of the camp fee.
Camp deposits and fees will be charged to the credit/debit card on file as they come due. Families may request alternative payment plans prior to the automatic card charge dates.
