Summer Camp Positions!
Build Bonds, Shape Lives, and Leave a Legacy at the Acadia Region’s Premiere Summer Day Camp
You don’t just work here; you create memories that last a lifetime—yours and theirs.
Imagine spending your summer in the breathtaking setting of Acadia National Park, where you’re not just earning a paycheck, but building connections, developing leadership skills, and helping young campers grow. Every challenge overcome, every camper encouraged—it’s all part of the lasting legacy you’ll leave behind. This summer isn’t just a job; it’s your impact on the future.
At Camp Beech Cliff, we promote a balance between the active and the creative, while promoting fun and learning in the outdoors. We consider our staff team a community, as a large number of our staff return each year and work in unison to help all our campers have the best camp experience possible. We look for talented and caring staff members who are committed to their jobs. Our head program staff are trained and experienced in their fields, while many of them are pursuing careers working with children. All summer staff participate in a multi-day pre-camp training that includes child development, health and safety issues, and program planning.
Applicants should realize that the job of a camp counselor is challenging, demanding, and requires a great deal of patience and understanding. Personal lifestyle sacrifices may have to be made including disconnecting from daily use of digital technology during the camp day. Sensitive and dynamic leadership is necessary to provide youngsters the opportunity to grow, learn to positively relate to others, establish life-long values and increase their appreciation of the natural world.
